In addition to pursuing farming practices that are as environmentally sustainable as possible, another goal of ours is to carry out this project in a manner that is as economically sustainable as possible. Every member of the Farm for Life project maintains a day job and is working hard to pay off personal debt while devoting our free time and extra pennies to the growth of the farm and the dream to ‘give back’ by renewing our 2.5 acres of land in a responsible, healthy way. There are many things that we need to help the farm move forward and we thought we’d throw up a farm wish list in case any of our readers have items that they no longer need that would be welcomed and well-used on the farm. The list below is not exhaustive, but it’s a snapshot of the kinds of items we’re looking for. If you feel inclined to donate used tools or other farm items to our project, please email us at thefarmforlifeproject@gmail.com. Thank you so much!
